With the Arizona in Motion WIC System, we developed and implemented a system that has been recognized by national organizations, including BCA and the USDA, as the most functionally rich, fully implemented, and proven WIC system in operation throughout the country.

The AIM System Development and Implementation project was awarded the Arizona Governor's Spirit of Excellence Award.

No longer having to write the name, date of birth, WIC identification number, address and phone number, plus numerous other health related details for each participant on every hand-written collection tool is a real time saving. Now, that time allows for more in-depth delivery of nutrition education. Another improvement is the issuing of food instruments that allows tailoring to meet the nutritional needs for each participant. The former system would take one month and sometimes two months for the batch system to allow a food package prescription change. Now, the range of options is the entire list of available food packages and can be produced immediately.”
