Mobile and Wireless Solutions

Building on our extensive systems development expertise and experience, CMA has developed a component-based methodology for creating mobile/handheld solutions. CMA has professionals dedicated to this practice who use CMA's structured and proven methodology for supporting commercial and public sector organizations requiring mobile computing.

Using Web-based technologies, CMA also builds wireless business solutions that connect mobile workers to the critical information they need to be more productive and competitive. We work with a full spectrum of devices including laptop computers, pen computers, tablets, PDA's compatible with the Palm OS and Microsoft Palm PC, and Web-enabled mobile phones. We also employ leading edge research in content delivery.

Connectivity to information systems is accomplished through a variety of technologies depending on the needs of the mobile application and the timeliness of the information. CMA has developed interfaces to direct LAN docking, remote access services (RAS), wireless messaging/Web technology, and most recently through wireless WAN networks. At the enterprise LAN/WAN level, mobile data has been replicated to enterprise information systems such as Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL, and mainframe systems.
