This project included a corresponding upgrade of Oracle database version 8.0.5 to the latest version available at the time of the upgrade (currently it is lOg) as well as an upgrade of the current operating system from Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 to MS Windows Server 2003. CMA performed the following services under this contract:

- Testing
- Training/Mentoring
- Support and Maintenance
One of the most critical customizations is the interface between DMV's Oracle FMS and the Office of the State Comptroller's Central Accounting System (CAS). DMV interfaces with CAS, a mainframe VSAM COBOL system, to report agency purchase order and contract encumbrances, as well as expenditures, which are posted to appropriate CAS records. CAS then generates all checks in payment for merchandise and services.
